I founded W.i.T. Studio in 2016 with the intention of sharing my background as a designer, builder, studio instructor, and consultant with people who enjoy doing great work with technicality and imagination.
My expertise ranges from big picture thinking to detailed analysis of problems and oportunities that arize in projects from property acquisition through construction.
My Professinal Path
Landscaping
I grew up working for my father’s landscaping company, Sacred Space Renaisance. He mentored me for many years sculpting gardens with meticulous craftsmanship and spiritual intentions.
International Service
Work projects for national parks of the Netherlands Antilles, public health in Rural Brazil, and formal landscaping in Switzerland informed my world view and affirmed my interest to help people through design and construction.
Construction
Multiple years working for a general contractor, Springwood Builders, gave me the mentorship, training in rough and finish trades, and experience engaging clients I needed to solve problems, manage projects, and develop and eye for quality craftsmanship.
Architecture
I have run my own firm and completed over 100 projects independently. I’ve seen a lot and navigated too many complicated situations to count. I have worked with clients, contractors, and governing agencies to identify priorities, solve problems, design dynamic places and monitor execution.
